Privacy Policy
Who we are
This policy describes how YettiQanot (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use our Telegram-first taxi platform. The service includes driver and rider Telegram bots, an optional admin bot, a Telegram Mini App map experience, a backend API (including WebSocket where used), and data stored on our servers (for example Turso/libSQL and application hosting with [HOSTING PROVIDER]).
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at shokh2369@gmail.com.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use YettiQanot, we may process:
- Telegram account and identifiers. When you interact with our bots or Mini App, Telegram provides identifiers and profile-related signals needed to run the product (for example your Telegram user id, username where visible, language, and chat context). Where the Mini App uses Telegram initData or similar mechanisms, we process the data Telegram supplies for authentication and session integrity, as applicable to our implementation.
- Driver live location when you share it. If you enable location sharing in the driver flow, we process precise or approximate location to support dispatch, pickup proximity, trip progress, and related safety or operational features tied to live rides.
- Trip and order data. We process information about rides you accept or complete, including pickup and drop-off locations or areas, trip status, timestamps, and fare-related fields as applicable to our pricing and settlement logic.
- Wallet, ledger, and incentives. Where the product includes payments, balances, payouts, promotions, referrals, commissions, or similar accounting, we process the records needed to operate those features (for example transaction history, promo or referral codes, and commission calculations).
- Verification, compliance, and legal acceptance. If we collect verification materials, compliance checks, or records that you accepted terms or policies (including fingerprints or hashes of documents or acceptance events where we store only a fingerprint rather than the full file), we process that information to meet legal, regulatory, or operational requirements and to demonstrate consent or eligibility where required.
- Technical and security data. We process server logs, device and app telemetry as implemented, error reports, and security signals to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, and help prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
How we use your information
We use the data above to:
- Provide and improve the driver, rider, and admin experiences on Telegram and the web.
- Match drivers and riders, show relevant map or status information, and run trips end to end.
- Calculate fares or estimates, apply promotions, and maintain accurate wallet or ledger records.
- Verify accounts or eligibility, enforce our policies, and comply with applicable law.
- Protect users and the platform, detect fraud, and secure our infrastructure.
- Communicate with you about the service (for example through Telegram or email where you provide it).
Legal bases (EU / UK)
If data protection law in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases, as appropriate:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the taxi and account features you request.
- Legitimate interests — for example to secure the service, prevent fraud, improve reliability, and understand aggregate usage, balanced against your rights.
- Consent — where we ask for consent (such as optional marketing or certain sensors or communications), you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law or regulatory requests.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary by data category (for example trip and financial records may be kept longer than transient logs). We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed, subject to minimum statutory retention where applicable.
Sharing and processors
We may share information with:
- Telegram — as the platform through which bots and the Mini App run; Telegram’s own privacy practices apply to their platform.
- Infrastructure and service providers — such as [HOSTING PROVIDER], database providers (for example Turso/libSQL where used), logging or monitoring vendors, and email or notification providers, under contract and confidentiality terms.
- Maps or location providers — if we integrate map tiles, routing, geocoding, or similar services, those providers may process location or query data as described in their policies.
- Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the public.
We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly understood in privacy law.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit where standard for our stack, monitoring, and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to safeguard data and review practices as the service evolves.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights or ask questions, email shokh2369@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
Children
YettiQanot is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by applicable law for consent without parental authorization. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide notice as required by law or through the product (for example via the bot or Mini App). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted.
